ABOUT THE CLUB:

The CEC was formed back in March 2002 and is a friendly informal postal dog club for dog lovers. The CEC caters for all breeds and cross breeds and our members do not need to own a dog to join.

The club is run by volunteers and is a non profit making club that raises money for canine charities by running postal photo shows, quizzes and live events when it is able. Anyone can enter club shows and quizzes, members and non members alike but as a member you get a reduced entry fee. Check out what's running this month on the Schedules page.

The CEC runs internal competitions for its members throughout the year where they can win beautiful rosettes and awards. All members are invited to take part in the clubs activities and press releases. Show Organisers Awards (SOYs) Photo Dog Of The Year (PDY) Cover Dog and Recognition Awards are just some of the member only activities we hold.

The Club sends its members 4 magazines a year packed with facts, fiction, professional and members points of view, products reviews, readers stories, club news and so much more. The magazines are A5 full colour booklets and we are able to offer large print versions (A4) for partially sighted people too. Back Issues of our club magazine can be brought for £1.50 each. All in all the club caters for people who enjoy dogs. Joining the The CEC is a fun way of raising money for UK Canine Charities that wont cost you the earth, whilst winning rosettes and awards for you and your dogs. Meeting new like minded friends, show off your own dogs in our magazine and on our forum and be a part of a fun and friendly club.
